Martino Moruzzi was born in 1996. In 2010, after joining the G. Nicolini Conservatory of Piacenza under the guidance of Maestro Paolo Beltramini, he graduated in 2016 with honours. He has already won numerous national and international awards: first prize at the 15 th edition of the "Riviera Etrusca" Competition of Piombino, third prize at the 22 nd edition of the "International Music Competition" of Cortemilia, first prize at the National Instrumental Competition "Città di Giussano". In 2019 he became an official member of the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO). He is currently studying in at the KMH in Stockholm (Royal college Music of Stockholm) attending a Masters in Clarinet for Orchestra under the guidance of Maestro Hermann Stefannson. From 2016 to 2018 he specialised with Calogero Palermo and Davide Lattuada at the Scatola Sonora Academy in Rome. He has also collaborated with many internationally renowned conductors and soloists: Conrad Tao, Thomas Søndergård, Vasily Petrenko, Markus Poschner and Victoria Mullova. He has collaborated with the Chamber Orchestra of Mantova, LaFil – Milan Philharmonic, the Spira Mirabilis Orchestra, the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra SRSO and the Orchestra della Svizzera italiana (OSI).
