The sleeping beauty
A story in four languages by Eugenio Monti Colla
with Čajkovskij’s music played by LaFil – Filarmonica di Milano
For the first time together LaFil and Compagnia Marionettistica Carlo Colla & Figli present “The sleeping beauty” in four languages: italian, english, arab and russian.
Inspired by the tale by Perrault and Tchaikovsky’s ballet, through the leit-motiv technique the themes of good and bad, the witch and the fairy, make a unique piece of ballet and unleash the prodigious forces of other characters.
The typical features of tales combine with the spectacular Nineteen Century’s ballet in a unique way, with their magic as absolute protagonist and the music as key part of the dialogue.
